Since the dawn of Rachel’s professional career, she has proven herself worthy of the spotlight having multiple songs reach #1 on Buffalo's hip-hop and R&B radio station 93.7 WBLK's Unsigned Hype, a weekly showcase comprised entirely of unsigned artists battling for the #1 spot on the countdown. She has also had her original music played on Colorado's 96.1 The Beat radio station and several college and AM stations.
Rachel has written over 50 songs independently and worked with over 30 artists collaboratively. She has written music for other aspiring and professional singers and served as a reference vocalist on tracks that have gone on to be shopped to major labels in the music industry.
In addition to studio and radio work, she has also performed live in excess of 150 times in New York, Texas, Florida and Colorado. Rachel has proudly sung the national anthem in multiple sports arenas and stadiums. She has opened for a few national recording artists including NDambi, Adina Howard, Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees and Ray J. She has also written a variety of songs for children and charity.
A true philanthropist by nature, Rachel gave back to her hometown of Buffalo, NY by recording "It's All About Tomorrow", a theme song for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's annual Ride for Roswell campaign. This heartfelt track was created to empower those who are struggling with and have survived Cancer. Rachel was thrilled to be a part of this project and music video. In 2009, 2010 and 2011, Rachel was nominated and ultimately awarded with Female R&B Artist of the Year and Single of the Year in Upstate New York at the Unsigned Hype Music Awards. Ultimately winning the award in both 2009 and 2011, Rachel reigned as the Female R&B Artist of the Year in upstate NY twice over. Gaining upstate respect for music was a feat of epic proportions for this Queen City girl. She took that confidence and made it to the big apple when placing 3rd at Showtime at the Apollo's Amateur Night (in Harlem, NY). She also had the opportunity to perform and compete with singers from around the globe while in Texas. This competition, held by the US Army, was called Operation Rising Star. It was this competition in which she placed 2nd, receiving accolades and praise from soldiers and fans internationally.
